When to check with someone

Every child is different. Curiosity looks different in every child — some ask endless questions, some explore quietly with their hands. How do I answer all the why questions?
Answer simply and honestly, and when you do not know, say so and wonder together. Sometimes turn it back — what do you think? Those questions are your child thinking out loud, so welcome them even when they are tiring.
Do I need a science kit?
No. Water, dal, a magnet off the fridge, a balcony plant and the kitchen shelf cover years of real experiments. The thinking — predict, test, talk about why — matters far more than any kit.
How do I keep curiosity alive once school starts?
Protect free play and outdoor time, follow your child's interests, do hands-on activities at home, and let learning stay playful even when school gets formal. Curiosity is what makes a willing lifelong learner.
