Supples markets itself as "100% plant-based and fragrance-free." Checking their Amazon.in product page and official website, the brand lists: cellulose, super-absorbent polymer, and plant-based oils. No synthetic fragrances or phthalates disclosed. This aligns with their hypoallergenic positioning.

Pampers Swaddlers Pants, per their listed ingredients on Amazon.in, do not disclose fragrance as an added ingredient. The brand does not claim "plant-based."

Huggies Wonder Pants similarly does not list fragrance in public ingredients. Both are positioned as mainstream premium, not toxin-free.

Important: none of these diapers contain talc (regulated out of baby diapers by BIS in India since 2019). All three brands comply with Indian diaper safety standards. If you're specifically seeking fragrance-free, Supples is the explicit choice; the other two don't prevent fragrance, but also don't advertise it.

Eco-Friendliness: The Honesty Check

Supples claims plant-based materials and promotes a compostable range. Pampers and Huggies are conventional plastic-based diapers. In India's waste management reality, almost no disposable diaper (plant-based or not) actually reaches industrial composting-most end up in landfills. If eco-impact is your driver, cloth nappies with daily washing remain the only genuinely sustainable option. Supples is the "least harmful" of the three, but claims of compostability should be taken with caution unless your city has an active industrial composting facility (most tier-1 cities do not yet in 2026).
